There are several tutorials on how to make a mirrored end table, but I've come up with a new method that is super sturdy and super easy to do so. Let's go ahead and get started to make the end table you'll need 7 of these 8 by 10 silver accent mirrors from the Dollar Tree, and nine of these eight by ten silver picture frames also from the Dollar Tree. You'll also need some e6000 glue. I started by taking aside two of the picture frames. After removing the cardboard backing in the glass I used a pair of scissors to gently remove the metal hinges off of both frames. This is what I was left with to hinge free silver frames.
Next, I took aside one of the mirrors in one of the picture frames. I flipped the mirror upside down and applied East excels in all along the back frame. Then I flipped the mirror back over and applied it over the top of the picture frame, making sure the mirror was centered after cleaning up any excess glue. I was left with a single mirrored panel. I repeated this process on the remaining frames and mirrors until I had seven mirrored panels and the two hinge free silver frames. Taking aside one of the silver frames and three of the mirrored panels, I created a box shape by gluing the long sides of the frames together making sure that all of the sides lined up evenly. And yes, I used a bottle of Windex to help support the mirrored panels as the glue dried.
I found that worked really well, but just choose whatever you have on hand once the silver frame and the three mirrored panels were all glued together. I set them aside to dry and repeated the steps to make another box shape. At this point, I was left with two box shapes with mirrored panels on three sides and 1 extra mirrored panel. Next, all I did was glue the two boxes on top of each other, making sure the edges were lined up evenly and the open or silver frame sides were facing the same direction. If you want mirrors on all sides of your end table, you can of course add mirrors on top of the open frames, but my end table is going up against a wall, so that side won't be visible. Then I just simply finished the end table by gluing.
